To commemorate the 50th Victory Day, members of the Bangladesh community in the Washington DC metro area staged a demonstration in front of the White House on December 18, demanding recognition of the 1971 genocide by the Pakistani military. Protesters held placards and shouted slogans that the US Congress should stop it. Pakistan Responsible for ‘Bengali Genocide’.
