Basil Joseph is one of the prominent names in the Malayalam film industry. The actor-director is now all set to team up with the makers of Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai and Jan-e-Mann for his next release. The name of the movie is Falimi. Recently he released the first poster of the film, which is now creating a lot of buzz on social media. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Extremely happy to collaborate again with superhit producer Cheers Entertainment after Jaaneman and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, extremely talented debutant director Nitish Sahdev, his crew and the evergreen Jagdish Chetan, Manju Chechi To share the screen with, Meenraj sir and Sandeep.”

Falimi was first announced in 2019 with Antony Varghese selected to play the lead role. Due to the pandemic, the film saw changes in its cast and production team.
In a recent interview with OTTPlay, Basil Joseph said, “Now, I am really excited about my profile as an actor. Movies Films like Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai, Paltu Janavar, and Jana-e-Mann have been appreciated by critics and audiences, and it also gives me an additional responsibility as an actor. I now have to balance between my creative projects as an actor and a director.”
