Battlefield single player campaign asked to return in future games

Electronic Art’s iconic Battlefield franchise is relaunching the single-player campaign after this mode was dropped from the latest entry, Battlefield 2042. This information comes from a job listing for the company’s new studio in Seattle. EA is looking for a Design Director to create a “New Battlefield Campaign”. Supposedly, that person will be in charge of building the studio’s design team and looking through the campaign from the concept phase to the final release. Furthermore, the next Battlefield entry is believed to be already in the early stages of development.

according to job listing, EA Wants to form a new design team whose primary objective will be to develop a single-player campaign for the next title Battle field Voting. It wants to bring in a design director for its Seattle studio. This person will be tasked with overseeing the “mission design, narrative, game mechanics and systems” with the design team. This information indicates that actual work on the single-player elements has yet to begin in the studio. So, Battlefield loyalists may have to wait a significant amount of time for the update.

This may be due to the poor performance of backtracking on EA’s side with regards to the single-player campaign. Battlefield 2042, It was released in November last year with a barebones multiplayer and no single-player campaign. Like in recent games battlefield v, the campaign appears to be an afterthought with short length and lack of polish. It appears that EA may finally bring back the glory days of bad company with this new entry.
