BCCI announces updated squad for Bangladesh ODI; Makes two changes to ODI squad vs New Zealand

BCCI has announced the updated squad for Bangladesh ODI and also made two changes one vs New Zealand.

The All India Senior Selection Committee selected fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed along with Yash Dayal and Ravindra Jadeja For the upcoming 3 match ODI series against Bangladesh in December. Dayal has a lower back problem and has been ruled out of the series while Jadeja is still recovering from a knee injury and will be under the supervision of the BCCI medical team.

The statement further added that Kuldeep and Shahbaz will now directly participate in the Bangladesh ODIs.

Kuldeep and Shahbaz were initially named in the squad for New Zealand’s 3-match ODI series starting in Auckland from 25 November. However, now he will be a part of the team going to Bangladesh. No replacement has been named for the ODI squad currently in New Zealand, the BCCI said in a statement.
