BCCI President Sourav Ganguly discharged after COVID treatment to be in home isolation

Ganguly was hospitalized twice earlier this year and underwent emergency angioplasty after some cardiac issues.

BCCI President and Former India captain Sourav Ganguly He was discharged from hospital on Friday after being treated for COVID-19 but will remain in home isolation for the next two weeks.

Hospital officials said the former captain will be in home isolation under the supervision of doctors and has not been infected with the Omicron variant.

“We discharged Ganguly this afternoon. They will have to remain in home isolation under the supervision of doctors for the next fortnight. After that the next course of treatment will be decided,” said a hospital official PTI,

The 49-year-old was taken to Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital on Monday night as a precautionary measure after his RT-PCR test came back positive for COVID-19.

He received “monoclonal antibody cocktail therapy” after admission.
