Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has asked his party leaders and workers to remain vigilant and stay safe during the next three months as the Popular Front of India’s (PFI) speculative ban could lead to retaliation against the party.

In an audio clip of his conference call with the party cadre on social media, he is heard asking the members, especially in places like Coimbatore, Kanyakumari and Vellore, to stay safe and not travel alone anywhere for a few months. goes.

“Given the past killing patterns, the cadres in these places, who are aggressive about Hindutva, could be soft or hard targets. So be careful and do not travel alone anywhere. Mandal leaders should ensure that workers in their areas are safe. He said that if PFI is banned then there is a possibility that there may be some impact in Tamil Nadu as we are close.

Shri Annamalai said that not a single BJP cadre should die and the party including the Home Ministry is taking all possible steps. “Even in the past, when such restrictions were in place, there was an immediate emergency blow,” he claimed.

He said that party workers should not take it lightly as such groups show their presence by random killings and create communal unrest and blame the Indian government for the ban.

“So, identify the faces of Hindutva in your areas and send me a list immediately. We are only doing this as a precaution. The restrictions may not be imposed, but we need to be vigilant,” said Mr. Annamalai.
