“Bengal government should follow constitutional norms”: Ruipal wrote a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, know what is the matter

Raipal CV Anand Bose wrote a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the matter related to Principal Secretary Nandini Chakraborty.

Kolkata :

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has sent a letter to Mamata Banerjee alleging that her Principal Secretary Nandini Chakra is coming to the office, in which case the state government should follow constitutional norms. A highly placed source of Raj Bhavan gave this information on Thursday. Bose claimed in the letter that Letter Fair had spread the news that the governor was trying to do “a similar reversal” of the Secretary of State (Nabanna) to the Raj Bhavan by appointing officers of the CBI and other documents as his advisors. The letter said the state government should probe their “serious conspiracy”.

On February 12, the governor removed Nandini Chakra from the post of his principal secretary. Even after this, however, he allegedly continues to hold office. Chakra, a 1994 IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre, was transferred to the tourism department of the state on February 15.

“The governor has sent a reasoned letter to his job, asking him to follow the constitutional limits of government. He mentions in the letter that the Nandini Letter Fair was spreading news that the governor’s authority and officials of other departments were appointing their advisors and trying to turn the Raj Bhavan into a parallel state. This is untrue.” Who will replace Chakraborty has not been announced yet.
