Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) will partially suspend its commercial flight operations for 10 days from 8 February 2023. It is a regular exercise done once in two years. 14th edition of Aero India-2023 It is being organized in Bengaluru from 13 to 17 February.

Airport officials said that the airspace at the Bengaluru airport will be partially closed for civilian flight operations.

“The airspace at BLR airport will remain closed for civil flight operations as per the schedule given below. For queries on revised/changed flight schedules, please connect with your respective airline,” Bangalore International Airport Limited (BAIL) tweeted while sharing the schedule.

Bengaluru airport: flight timings from February 8-17

On February 8, commercial flight operations will remain closed from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Similar restrictions are in force till February 9-11.

The runway will remain closed between 9 am to 12 noon for the final dress rehearsal on February 12.

On February 13, the runway will remain closed between 9 am and 12 noon for the opening ceremony, fly past and flying display.

In view of the flying display, the airspace will remain closed from 12 noon to 2.30 pm on February 14 and 15.

Closed for flying display from 9.30 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm on February 16-17.

Aero India, which provides a platform for aerospace companies to showcase their products and services, is scheduled to be held at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 13 to 17.

Ticket Prices for Aero India 2023

there are three types visitor ticket Available. General Visitor Ticket, Air Display Viewing Area (ADVA) Visitor Ticket and Business Visitor Ticket. General and ADVA ticket is valid for one day and one time entry. However, the occupation is valid for one day with more than one entry.

The price ticket for general visitor (for exhibition and ADVA) is 2500 for Indian citizens and $50 for foreign citizens. For ADVA visitor, ticket price is 1000 for Indian citizens and $50 for foreign citizens.

Business visitor ticket price 5,000 for Indian citizens and $150 for foreign nationals. All pass charges are inclusive of GST.

Aero India states in its website that a total of 731 exhibitors have registered for the airshow – 633 Indian and 98 foreign. According to officials, Aero India has carved a niche for itself globally as one of the leading aerospace exhibitions with 13 successful editions held in Bengaluru since 1996.
