Woman is seen with her daughter on the balcony of her apartment in Bangalore

In disturbing CCTV footage, a woman was seen throwing her four-year-old daughter from the balcony of her fourth-floor apartment in Bengaluru.
After throwing the child, the woman climbed onto the railing and stood for a few seconds before family members pulled her back and slammed her to the floor.
Police said that the child died on the spot. The gruesome incident took place on Thursday at an apartment in SR Nagar in north Bengaluru.
Police said the four-year-old girl was hearing and speech-impaired. Because of this, the woman was apparently depressed, the police said. She has been arrested after her husband filed a case with the police.
She is a dentist and her husband is a software engineer.
Senior police officer Srinivasa Gowda said, “We are looking into all aspects regarding the mental health of the mother as well.”
