Bengaluru: Heart shaped traffic lights were seen around the city. what does this mean?

Some traffic lights in Bengaluru have been turned into a heart shape. These heart-shaped traffic lights have taken the internet by surprise. While many are sharing a glimpse of the new signs, others are wondering why some of the red signs changed shape.

According to reports, Manipal Hospitals installed these red lights as hearts in consultation with the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Bengaluru Traffic Police. As part of the campaign for World Heart Day, up to 15 signals have been changed in the city.

to promote Bangalore To become a “Heart Smart City”, these traffic lights on the city streets have taken the shape of a heart.

A post in the hospital chain’s Twitter handle read, “On the occasion of #WorldHeartDay, Manipal Hospitals sets up innovations to encourage Bangalore to be a ‘Heart Smart City’.”

The source further read, “These included red signals in the shape of a heart, audio messages spreading awareness about heart health, and QR codes to easily access emergency services instead of dialing numbers to make calls. Here are some The pictures are the same.”

Apart from these recently installed lights, Manipal Hospital Management has placed the QR code near the traffic light. When scanned these codes will immediately connect the victim to the ambulance service and connect them to an emergency number. The concept is to offer assistance at the touch of a button in times of need, when it is impossible to call and seek medical help elsewhere.
