We all have experienced pressure while working in a corporate set-up. Some jobs have extremely pressing deadlines that require you to be alert at all times. Most of us have heard instances where people had to put their jobs ahead of everything else. They sometimes had to finish work while on leave, while going back in a cab or metro, meetings while traveling etc. Internet. Although the post reflected the city’s general “hustle culture”, some users pointed to unrealistic expectations from employees and the toxicity of workplaces.

An internet user Nihar Lohia shared the picture on Twitter. “Peak Bangalore moment. Women working on Rapido bike ride to office,” he wrote in the caption. Since being shared, the post has garnered over 44,000 views and 355 likes.

One user said, “Imagine the pressure if she has to work on a bad motorbike. How insensitive are employers. But if she is late of her own accord she will be blamed.”

A second person said, “Nah…not always work pressure…sometimes it just shows up as “available” to try to cover required hours.”

One user commented, “This should not be glorified. This is extreme cr**** corporate culture.”

“This is stupid. Nowadays companies have no humanity/respect towards their employees as they burden them with tight schedules and unattainable goals. With WFH culture, they give fixed time to their employees to have lunch Don’t even give or don’t give, dinner, or tea break,” commented one person.
