Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) declares record date for second interim dividend

The Ministry of Defense of the Government of India oversees Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU that develops electronic equipment and items for the country’s defense industry. For fiscal year 2022-2023, the Corporation has established a record date for the second interim dividend.

“In terms of Regulation 42(2) of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you that for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of the shareholder for payment of Second Interim Dividend on the Equity Shares of the Company, the record date of BEL The board of directors said in a stock exchange filing, for the financial year 2022-23, if declared, would be Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Bharat Electronics has declared an equity dividend of 450.00% on face value 1, or 4.5 per share, for the financial year ending March 2022. With the share price as it is now, this generates a dividend yield of 4.85%. In a board meeting held on January 28, 2023, the firm declared its first interim dividend for the financial year (FY) 22–23, which is 60% or Rs. 0.60 per share (at face value of Rs 1 per share). The record date was set as February 10, 2023.

Reported revenue from operations of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) 4064.9 cr in Q3 FY23 as compared to Rs. 3660.84 crore was reported in Q3 FY22, representing a growth of 11.04%. Company’s consolidated net profit up by 2.87% 613.01 crore in the quarter ending December 2022 595.86 crore in the quarter ending December 2021. BEL’s EPS stood at As against 0.83 in Q3FY23 0.82 in Q3FY22.
