Union Minister of State for Health Bharti Praveen Pawar pulled up the medical and health department officials for not putting up the logos of Ayushman Bharat (AB) and PM Jan Arogya Yojanas and pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at AB Wellness Center in Bhavanipuram. Vijayawada 23 January.
“The matter will soon be probed by a central team and a show-cause notice will be issued,” he added.
During her visit to the Centre, Ms Pawar said it was unfortunate that the state government, which is implementing various health schemes with central financial assistance, did not consider it appropriate to give due credit to the Centre.
He observed that the same neglect could be seen everywhere and it was condemnable. “Full details of the schemes should be displayed, but this was not happening,” Ms. Pawar said.
