Manya Singh’s recent comment on the chemistry of co-contestants Sumbul Tauqeer and Shalin Bhanot in the Bigg Boss 16 house has left everyone disappointed. In a recent episode, Miso India Runner-up Manya Singh slammed Sumbul-Shalin and accused them of copying Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill from Bigg Boss 13. He argued that Sumbul is trying to hold Shalin’s hand in order to advance in the game.
“She is moving forward holding the hand of a boy. Why do you need to go ahead of someone’s pallu, hand. So do it on your own merit, not by holding anyone’s hand,” Manya was quoted as saying by Indiatoday.in.
“Everyone has to make Siddharth Shukla and Shahnaz here. But they were both real, their emotions were real, they were both ready to lay down their lives for each other. (Everyone wants to be Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla, but they were real. Their feelings were genuine) They don’t understand that at the end of the day, only one person will win the show,” she said.
Manya Singh’s comment has left netizens upset and disappointed. Social media has been flooded with fans criticizing the Miss India runner-up and accusing her of killing Sumbul’s character. One of the social media users asked Manya to ‘get a life’ and wrote, “#SumbulTouqeerKhan has earned everything by her hard work and supporting her family at such a young age. Apparently Manya’s insecurities are coming to the fore. Huh.”
