The contestants and the audience were stunned when Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar unveiled the glittering trophy to be given to the winner of the show. This is the last week of the reality show and the finale will take place on Saturday, 18 September. During the episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Karan gave a glimpse of the new eye design to the contestants. The sight of the trophy was hair-raising. Designed horizontally, it was bright turquoise in colour.
Presently the house has Nishant Bhat, Divya Agarwal, Shamita Shetty, Neha Bhasin, Rakesh Bapat and Prateek Sahajpal. On September 12, Moose Jattana was kicked out of the show after being an inch closer to the finale. Moosebid bids his co-contestants a tearful farewell.
Last week, Shamita, Divya, Neha, Moose and Prateek were nominated. Firstly, Karan announces that Shamita, Divya and Prateek are safe, while Neha and Moose got the least number of votes. Shamita and Divya thanked the audience for showering them with love, while Prateik got teary-eyed. Later, the director-producer asked the family members one by one that which of the two they wanted to save. The contestants had to cut the strings of what they wanted to save in the show. While Shamita and Prateek saved Neha, Nishant and Divya voted for Moose. In the end, it all came down to Rakesh as both the contestants got equal votes. He praised both the contestants equally, but in the end decided to save Neha.
In Weekend Ka Vaar, Karan discusses the task and the behavior of the contestants towards him. The ups and downs in the relationship between Rakesh and Shamita were also discussed. Infuriated by Rakesh’s ‘men are stronger than women’ argument, Karan calls him “sexist”.
