Actress Divya Aggarwal became the winner of recent Big Boss OTT. Reality shows have increased her popularity considerably. The 28-year-old is also working on the success of the web series Cartel. The action-drama starring Supriya Pathak and Rithvik Dhanjani has been receiving good reviews ever since it premiered on MX Player and ALT Balaji on August 20. Divya also plays an important role in the cartel.
She recently shared a picture of her look from the series on Instagram. The picture shows his transformation into an old man, with all the prosthetics. Divya is not recognized at all in this character. The actress congratulated the team of the cartel and thanked Ekta Kapoor for casting her in the series.
“The whole show looks amazing! Ma’am Ekta Kapoor, thank you for believing in me. This role defines my passion and love for cinema, you were the first to notice it. Sitting in that makeup chair for hours, I only prepared to be a better version of myself. Thank God for blessing me always!” she said in her long caption.
Ekta also responded kindly to Divya and praised her performance in the series. “We have a lot of work to do soon! You were great on the show,” commented the producer.
Divya’s boyfriend Varun Sood also commented, ‘So proud.
The actress also shared a video of her transformation process from the makeup room. Divya revealed that 4th December 2019 was her birthday when she started shooting for Cartel. “It was the cast for my prosthetic makeup, it took about 2 hours for all my senses to be blocked except for my nose,” the 28-year-old said.
Divya was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss OTT earlier this month when she defeated front runners Shamita Shetty and Nishant Bhatt. The first Indian digital version of the reality show was hosted by Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss season 15 will premiere on October 2 on Colors TV.
