2022 Mahindra Scorpio teased again
Mahindra earlier this week released the second teaser video of the new-gen variant of the Scorpio, revealing some of its exterior styling elements such as its front grille and the new Mahindra twin-peaks logo. Codenamed Z101 internally, Mahindra is calling it the ‘Daddy of SUVs’, and the company has confirmed that it will be placed in the D-segment.
KTM, Husqvarna price hike
KTM and Husqvarna are the latest 2W manufacturers to hike the prices of their motorcycles in India. The price hike ranges from Rs 4,544 for Duke 200 and RC 200 to Rs 7,130 for Husqvarna Swartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250.

2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Launched in India
Mercedes-Benz has launched the fifth-gen variant of the C-Class luxury sedan in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new-gen version of the car draws a lot of inspiration from the company’s flagship S-Class sedan, and hence, is being referred to as the baby S-Class.
Toyota Fortuner GR Sport makes debut
Toyota has introduced a new range-topping version of the Fortuner i.e. GR Sport. Based on the Legendary Edition, the GR Sport Edition is priced at Rs 48.43 lakh (ex-showroom), and gets a few mechanical updates along with cosmetic as well.

Land Rover has introduced the new generation Range Rover Sport globally with a new modern, attractive design and highly updated hi-tech cabin. Powertrains include a range-topping 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, as well as a 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine and two 3.0-litre straight-six diesel motors. Apart from the twin-turbo V8, other powertrains also get mild-hybrid support.
Ford decides to step back from manufacturing EVs in India
After exiting the Indian market in September 2021, Ford had decided to manufacture electric vehicles in India, and received PLI (Production-Link Incentive) benefits to build electric vehicles here. However, the American carmaker has now taken a U-turn on its decision, exiting the Indian market for the second time.
