Currently, unemployment poses a significant challenge, prompting educated young individuals to seek opportunities in the private sector rather than government positions. Following the conclusion of the Chhath festival in Begusarai, Bihar, the District Planning Office is set to host a job camp on November 22, offering a chance for 15 unemployed youth to secure jobs within the state through a private company.
It’s worth noting that the Labor Resources Department and District Employment Office are overseeing the organization of this job camp, which aims to provide employment not only to local youth but also to those working outside Bihar. Additionally, the event will offer career guidance to individuals attending the interviews.
Rana Amitesh, the District Planning Officer in Begusarai, along with Kundan Kumar, has revealed that 15 unemployed individuals holding intermediate and graduate degrees in Bihar will have the chance to secure employment as Field Credit Officers. The selected youth, aged between 20 and 26, will be offered positions in different Bihar districts through Annapurna Finance Private Limited, with a monthly salary of Rs 12,500 and additional essential amenities.
The District Planning Officer emphasized that prospective applicants for the job camp must register on the NCS portal. Interested candidates are required to complete the form with their biodata, including essential documents such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, educational certificates, mark sheets, and two coloured passport-size photographs.
Meanwhile, the UP Regional Service Planning Office, in collaboration with the Skill Development Mission and Raghunath Girls Post Graduate College hosted a job fair on November 6 and 7. Over 4,000 eligible female candidates are anticipated to receive offer letters during this event.
Shashi Bhushan Upadhyay, Assistant Director of the Regional Service Planning Office, shared that 22 firms will be present on November 6, and 18 companies on November 7. The job fair is open to candidates ranging from Class 10 to postgraduate level, including women in technical fields. Successful candidates in the interview process can expect remuneration between Rs 8,000 and Rs 27,000 based on merit.
