Bio-diesel and smart gloves stand out for the hearing and speech impaired at College Tech Festival in Andhra Pradesh

Students of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) pose with a robot during TecGite-23 held at the university campus at Nuzvid in Eluru district on Monday.

Bio-diesel project and smart gloves for speech and hearing impaired persons designed by students of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid Campus were among the innovative projects displayed during the technology fest TECHZITE-23 on Monday .

Around 70 projects on various themes were displayed by the Student Development and Campus Activity Cell (SDCAC) of various disciplines during the fest organized in the university campus.

Surpati Shankar and Basasetty Keshav Sai Kiran of E-3 Chemical Engineering designed the bio-diesel project and L. Ved Murthy, D. Dnyaneshwari and Shaik Chandini designed smart gloves for people with hearing and speech impairments.

RGUKT, AP, Chancellor KC Reddy, Vice-Chancellor M. Vijay Kumar, Director GVR Srinivasa Rao, Administrative Officer Pradeep, Convener Tecsite KK Singh and others appreciated the students for showcasing the projects, in which the clan system was used. A robot was involved; Environmentally friendly charger; Smart Agriculture using IoT; Working model of gear box; Arduino Robot Arm; Smart helmet and solar tracker.
