Birla Group sets record date for Multibagger Small Cap stock 1:2 bonus issue

Xpro India Limited is a small-cap company whose market capitalization is 1,317.80 crore which is focused on polymer processing sector. The Birla Group is a multi-divisional, multi-local corporation that handles its polymers business through the Biax and Coex divisions.

The Board of Directors of the Company has proposed Bonus Equity Shares in the ratio of 1:2. Bonus shares will be issued in the ratio of 1 equity share 10/- for every 2 existing fully paid-up equity shares 10/- is owned by the shareholders of the company as on the record date. For this, the corporation has set a record date on Monday, July 4, 2022.

The company said in a BSE exchange filing that “Besides our letter dated May 25, 2022, inter alia, informing about the record date for the purpose of the proposed bonus, please be informed that for the purpose of determining eligibility The record date for bonus has been fixed by the Board of Directors on Monday, 4th July, 2022 and not 17th June, 2022 as stated earlier.”

Xpro India stock rises 143.15 from 4 June 2021. until 1,106.80 at 3:30 pm IST on June 3, 2022, outperformed the Sensex by over 674 per cent, representing a multibagger gain of 673.17 per cent on the BSE. The stock has gained 18.08 per cent (YTD) so far in 2022, compared to a 5.77 per cent YTD decline in the Sensex. The stock of Xpro India has gained 17.98 per cent in the last six months, while the Sensex has lost 1.72 per cent.

The stock has lost 8.22 per cent compared to a gain of 0.18 per cent in the Sensex last month. In the last five trading days, the stock has gained 5.41 per cent, beating the Sensex’s advance of 0.01%. The stock has been rising since last 2 days and has gained over 10% in this period. In Friday’s trading session, the stock closed at the rate of 5.00% in the upper circuit. At the level of 1,106.80, the area outperformed over 5%.

The stock opened with a gain of 4.63% during the previous trading on Friday and touched the intraday high of 1106.8 (5%). Shares touch 52-week high on BSE 1,674.00 on 25/03/2022 and touched a 52-week low of 126.70 on 10/06/2021 which indicates that the stock is trading at a discount of 33.88% from its 5w-week high at the current market price. Based on past trading prices, the stock is now stronger than the 5-day, 20-day and 200-day moving averages, but weaker than the 50-day and 100-day moving averages.
