BITS Pilani Launches Direct Admission For Class 12 Toppers To Its BTech Courses, Know How To Apply

Birla Institute of technology And Science (BITS) Pilani has opened the online registration window for all the board toppers for direct admission in their courses. Those who have secured first position in their respective class 12 board examinations (PCM/PCB stream) will be eligible for admission in integrated courses of BITS Pilani. The last date for submission of applications for direct admission in the institute is 31st August.

As per the official announcement, only those students who have secured first rank in their board will be eligible for admission. It should also be noted by the candidates that if more than one candidate is nominated by the Board as the first rank holder, then BITS Pilani will nominate a maximum of four students.

BITS 2022 Direct Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Students should be from PCM/PCB stream. He should have secured the highest marks in class 12 out of all the students.

BITS 2022 Direct Admission: How to Apply

Step 1. Open the official portal, bitadmission.com.

Step 2. Select the application link available on the homepage.

Step 3. Candidates now have to register with their full name, gender, date of birth and email address.

Step 4. Next, candidates have to fill their personal, academic and contact information.

Step 5. Upload the required documents.

Step 6. Finally, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1,000. It can be paid through net banking, credit card, debit card or UPI.

Step 7. Once the payment is done submit the form to complete the process.

Step 8. Download and make a copy of the application form for future reference.

BITS Pilani offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Full-time courses are available in many fields including engineering, science, commerce, computer applications, pharmacy, management, arts, humanities and social sciences. The university conducts the entrance test – BITSAT – for non-toppers.
