BJP candidate got more votes than AAP in most of the booths in all women polling stations during Delhi bypolls

BJP’s Rajesh Bhatia got more votes than AAP’s Durgesh Pathak in most of the six booths located under an all-women polling booth in Rajinder Nagar constituency in the recently held by-polls, according to official data shared by officials on Monday. While Bhatia got 28,851 votes, Congress candidate Prem Lata got 2,014 votes. The election officials had set up 190 polling stations across the constituency.

According to booth-level data shared by officials, Bhatia got more votes than Pathak in several booths, including the majority of booths under an all-women polling booth. At booth number 48, AAP candidate got 78 votes while BJP candidate got 177 votes. They got 82 votes and 112 votes respectively at booth number 48A.

Similarly, at booth numbers 53 and 54, Bhatia got more votes than Pathak. Data for booth numbers 46 and 47 were not immediately available.

According to officials, 43.67 per cent male voters and 43.86 per cent female voters exercised their franchise in the by-elections. The percentage of voters of the third gender was 50.
