BJP suspends former spokesperson Kishan Singh Solanki after taking selfie with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. India News – Times of India

Ahmedabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suspended its former spokesperson Kishan Singh on Monday solanki Hours after he shared a selfie with the Punjab Chief Minister, for “anti-party activities” and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwanti Value on social media.
A statement issued by Gujarat BJP said that BJP leader from Ahmedabad, Solanki, who was serving as the spokesperson of the party till about six months back, has been suspended for six years with immediate effect.
Solanki shared a selfie with Mann on his Facebook page on Sunday night with the caption, “Thank you @BhagwantMann ji @CMOPb for the birthday wishes”.

“Kishan Singh Solanki of Ahmedabad district has been suspended from the party for six years with immediate effect today for anti-party activities by the order of state BJP chief CR Patil,” the statement said.
Gujarat BJP spokesperson Yagnesh Dave said Solanki was part of the state BJP media team and worked as a spokesperson, but was yet to hold any position.
“He was the convener of the BJP media cell and had participated in TV debates on behalf of the party before he was removed from the post about six months ago,” Dave said.
According to his Facebook profile, Solanki had also served as a national executive member of the BJP Kisan Morcha or Kisan Cell.
Mann and his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal Recently visited Gujarat to campaign for the upcoming assembly elections.
