AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in an emotional speech in Hyderabad on Friday alleged that the BJP is waging war against Muslims and creating hatred against the community.
Addressing ‘Jalse Yam-ul-Quran’ at Mecca Masjid on the occasion of Jamaat-ul-Vida (last Friday of Ramzan), he accused the Narendra Modi-led BJP government of weakening the country with incidents of hatred.
Owaisi said, “BJP wants to put so much pressure on Muslims, and wants to hurt them so that they can finally take up arms…”
The AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP said, “BJP has created a storm of hatred against Muslims in our country. Muslims do not lose patience and courage. Fight this oppression by staying within the Constitution.”
Owaisi alleged, “We want to ask the Prime Minister to stop this hatred. It is weakening the country. Your party and your government/government have declared war against Indian Muslims.” Life matters too”.
Referring to the bulldozer controversy, Owaisi said that houses of Muslims were demolished in Khargone city and Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh. “A call is given to boycott Muslims and not to buy from their shops. Recently, in Haryana, those calling themselves ‘gau rakshaks’ (cow protectors) grabbed an elderly man’s beard and thrashed him. Similarly, another person was taken away from his house, alleging that he had slaughtered a cow and was also thrashed,” he said.
“We know that many incidents are happening in our country. I get many calls and people tell me, Asaduddin Owaisi, our houses and shops are being demolished. We are being destroyed… some say They are scared and some others are saying they are worried. I am telling you that there is no need to panic…be courageous,” Owaisi said.
Owaisi, who became emotional during his address, also asked Muslims not to lose hope and courage.
