TeaThere is one thing that the BJP’s election machinery never takes lightly, that is the support of a vote bank. It continually works on maintaining existing support or breaking new ground among communities. This is why even though it bans the radical Muslim organization Popular Front of India (PFI) and cracks down on ‘illegal’ madrassas, the party and the parent organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) reach out to them together getting what they want. Consider the middle classes of the Muslim community.
