Zomato-owned Blinkit has launched a printout delivery service at select locations, and they are charging Rs 9 per page for black-and-white printouts and Rs 19 per page for color printouts. In addition, the service also charges a delivery fee of Rs 25 for each such order. It has been launched in a few locations in Gurugram for now, but the app will add more locations in the coming months.
However, ever since this news came out, the service has been cashed in by internet users. Netizens welcomed the company’s initiative, but they also claimed that the prices of the services have no meaning for them. Many users failed to understand why the firm would charge such a high price for printing while most of the local photocopy shops charge very little for printouts.
going with blinkit printout service but question is
Is there really a demand and will the demand be equal to their higher prices?

Coming back to the service, those interested can upload documents to print through the Blinkit app. The organization confirmed that uploaded documents will be removed from Blinkit servers once printed.

Jitesh Goyal, Product Manager, Blinkit, announced the launch of this new service in a post on Thursday. linkedin, “At Blinkit we are now delivering printouts in minutes in some areas. Never had a printer at home and getting it from a cyber cafe or library or neighbors or offices has always been cumbersome especially when it is needed close to the deadline” Goyal said.
There is no minimum order requirement to avail the new service. The online delivery platform formerly known as Grofers was acquired by food delivery major Zomato in July this year.
