Bhubaneswar: former senior railway officer Dilip Kumar Samantre’s bookOdisha The Railway Story, was issued by Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal Here on Sunday.
The book contains fascinating stories about the development of railways from an early stage to facilitate economic growth and prosperity for the state of Odisha.
“This book brings out many facts unknown to many. It is a comprehensive, first of its kind literature on the history and development of Railways in Odisha,” said the author.
Among others, Higher Education Secretary Bishnupada Sethi and East Coast Railway General Manager SK Srivastava attended the event as guest speakers.
