Mutton Shami Kebab,

Shami kebab melts in the mouth in no time. It is made with minced meat (sheep or mutton), mixed with gram flour and loads of spices. Then you shape it like a patty and cook it. You can eat these kebabs on their own or make a nutritious meal by mixing them with parathas and chutneys.

Kakori Kebab,

Another popular mutton kebab recipe, has its roots in the royal Lucknow cuisine. The name of the dish is derived from the city of Kakori on the outskirts of Lucknow. Here, minced meat (mutton or lamb) is grilled to perfection with a variety of flavors and seasonings.

Barah Kebab,

Mutton ribs are used to prepare this dish. Here, mutton ribs are marinated with ginger, garlic, hung curd and a pool of Indian spices and left to rest overnight. After that all you have to do is grill/barbecue the ribs, until they become soft. Serve hot garnished with lemon juice and onion.

Mutton Boti Kebab,

To make Boti Kebab, we need mutton or boneless pieces of lamb. Another important ingredient to prepare this dish is papaya. Raw papaya is used here to soften the flesh. You have to marinate the meat with spices, herbs, curd and papaya and let it rest for 6-7 hours. Then grill it and serve hot with mint chutney on the side.

Peshawari Chapli Kebab,

One of the easiest kebab recipes, this dish has its roots in Pakistan. Here the minced meat is mixed with onion, tomato, black pepper, coriander powder and salt. Then make small kebab patties by hand and fry them in the pan. Trust us, this dish is a crowd-pleaser.
