A security guard foiled a robbery attempt in Punjab’s Moga district. The brave guard, Mandar Singh forced the three criminals to flee. Yesterday’s incident was caught on CCTV camera.
The footage showed three men thrashing the guard and attacking him with sharp weapons. But he fights back and then fires his gun to chase them.

Jaswinder Singh said, “An incident of attempted robbery took place in Moga’s Darapur village. The guards stopped him and also fired weapons. We are trying to identify the accused by looking at the CCTV footage which way they went.” The Station House Officer (SHO) of Moga Sadar Police Station.
Mandar Singh said that the three accused had come on a motorcycle and had covered their faces.
“The three accused came on a motorcycle with their faces covered. I had a feeling that they were no good to anyone. I asked them to unmask, but they did not comply. They hit my arm with a ‘kripan’ (sword). Cut me down. During one fight, I kept fighting and chasing them,” the guard told news agency ANI.
