Brazilian President eats pizza on the streets of NYC after UN meeting; twitter reaction

After a long period of lockdown, restaurants and eateries are opening up in the post-COVID era. However, dining out is not the same as there are many restrictions and guidelines for the customers as well as the restaurant staff. For example, in the US, some restaurants are demanding some proof of at least one dose of the vaccine and prohibiting entry without vaccination. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and his minister were recently in New York City, and they became one of the prominent visitors to be denied entry to a local restaurant. Have a look at his photo:

The picture was shared by Brazil’s Tourism Minister Gilson Machado Neto on Instagram. He had slices of pizza with some Coca Cola in his hand. Neto wrote in the caption, “Vamos de pizza com coca cola.”

New York’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, appealed to world leaders, “including Brazil’s most notably Bolsonaro” to get vaccinated, before attending a United Nations gathering in the city. “If you don’t want to get vaccinated, don’t worry,” he told a news conference. He also took to Twitter to share a picture of the leaders, prompting reactions social media.
