Growing up in India, much of what she knew about Pakistan revolved around narratives of rivalry with Pakistan. Sneha Reveals How She Met Her Closest Friend From Pakistan On Her First Day At Harvard Business school and how it changed his outlook. She wrote of how they bonded over “multiple chai, biryani, financial models and case study preps”. She learned how her friend grew up in a conservative Pakistani background, but with supporting parents.
While the stories of her Pakistani friend chasing her dreams resonated with Sneha, her bold choices inspired her. “I felt that the pride for your individual nations is strong, your love for the people is geographical and beyond boundaries. People, basically, are equal everywhere. Boundaries, boundaries and places are created by humans, and while It all makes sense to the head, the heart often fails to understand them,” wrote Sneha in part of her post.
She shared a picture of the two of them together, in which Sneha was holding the Pakistani flag and her friend was holding the Indian tricolor on Harvard’s flag day, happily breaking down barriers. She wrote: “See us in #harvard on the famous flag day – fly our flags and smile at the joy of “breaking down barriers” – not just literally in the middle India And to Pakistan, but also to the countless little girls in India and Pakistan who are afraid to shoot for the stars.”

Surely you both have a friendship of a lifetime that can drive change across borders for girls on both sides and inspired to lead,” wrote another. Responding to this, a LinkedIn user Breshna Rani wrote in part of her comment, “Very sad and appalling to see comments from many people who as a country did not form a border with politics, government and Pakistan. are getting. government.
