BSNL Is Giving VIP Numbers To Its Customers – Here’s How You Can Get It

Phone numbers, although part of a medium that others can follow to connect with you, can also become a mark in the community if they are special or have premium features. BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is offering its customers a chance to get Vanity or Premium mobile numbers which are made up of a special set of combination and are easy to remember.

This option is available for both prepaid and post-paid customers in India. To get these VIP or fancy numbers, customers need to register themselves and then enter the e-auction. These e-auctions bring all kinds of different combinations in one place, and customers can choose which combination they want to bid on.

The reason why BSNL is conducting auction for these premium numbers is that there is a high demand for them. So, if you want a vanity number and a unique identification attached to your number, read on and learn how you can register yourself and bid in the e-auction.

  1. Visit the official website: eauction.bsnl.co.in.
  2. Click on Login/Register on the top bar.
  3. Enter your existing mobile number and e-mail ID. Post this, BSNL will share the login details on the submitted e-mail id.
  4. Enter the login credentials sent to you by BSNL and complete the login process.
  5. Filter the available fancy numbers in the list and then select the number from the list.
  6. Click on ‘Continue to Cart’ and pay the registration fee (refundable).
  7. Now, once the bidding starts, enter the minimum bid amount.
  8. BSNL will select a total of three participants from the list of bidders for each fancy number. The remaining participants will be refunded their registration fee in 10 days.
  9. The three selected bidders – H1, H2, and H3 will be classified according to their bid amount. If the highest bidder doesn’t get the vanity number, the next bidder will get it, etc.
  10. As soon as the bidder gets the number, his number will be activated within a few days.
