BTS and Coldplay Drop New Single My Universe, ARMY Calls It ‘Heart Touching’

The wait is finally over as the much awaited track My Universe from BTS and Coldplay is out on YouTube. The two groups officially announced their collaboration on 13 September amid speculation about their joining hands and fans have been waiting for their single ever since. The bilingual song has the perfect mix of the romantic vibe of Coldplay and the thoughtful lyrics of BTS, as well as a small rap section in Korean by Suga and J-Hope.

Cena and Coldplay fans have taken to social media to praise the song.

One user wrote, “The Rap in My Universe song is so amazing I’m glad the Cold Tan collab happened #MyUniverse #ColdplayXBTS” while another wrote, “A complete piece! It’s so heartwarming and relaxing! Going to do.” See what is the reaction of fans:

The collaboration comes a few months after the septet, which featured RM, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook and V, who joined hands with Ed Sheeran for their latest track, Permission to Dance. The K-pop band was recently interviewed by Coldplay front-runner Chris Martin ahead of the release of their “Permission to Dance” music video, which featured short videos of fans participating in a dance challenge.

BTS also impressed fans with their rendition of Fix You by Coldplay.
