BTS enters Guinness World Records Hall of Fame with 23 records

BTS holds 23 Guinness World Record titles on music and social media

Riding a wave of worldwide popularity, South Korean band Bangtan Boys, better known as BTS, has entered the Guinness World Records 2022 Hall of Fame with 23 records. Formed in 2010, the seven-member boy band debuted in 2013 and has since delivered one runaway hit after another. Today, they are the most streamed group on Spotify, overtaking British band Coldplay, and the most followed music group on Instagram. BTS holds 23 Guinness World Record titles in music and social media.

His May 2021 release, butter, single-handedly broke five records, including finding the most viewers for a premiere of a music video on YouTube. That record was previously held by his own song gunpowder.
