BTS’ Jimin & Wee aka Kim Taehyung has received death threats on social media. An anonymous post on Weverse has gone viral on the social media platform. Apart from the pictures of the gun, the post also mentions death threats to two BTS members. It states that V and Jimin only have time until the Busan concert. V was threatened to stay away from “Jikook’s Lives”. ‘Jikook’ is a fan nickname used for Jimin and Jungkook. Jimin is also receiving similar threats.

South Korean music sensation BTS was formally appointed as the Honorary Public Relations Ambassador of the 2030 Busan World Expo last month. It was announced that Septet would headline a global concert to support its country’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in the port city of Busan in October.

As danger surfaced months before the concert, ARMY was worried about his favorite K-pop stars. “I am here to address you on Weavers regarding the issue of death threats against members of BTS, Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin. They claim to have harmed Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin, which is due in October. Used to be.” Twitter user wrote. Another said, “Dear hater, nothing about BTSARMY, you never know what we should do to protect our idols. Protect them……#BTSKpop #BTS_twt #BigHit #BTSARMY #BTSJIMIN #BTSV (sic).”

Some even asked HYBE, the management company of BTS, to increase the security of K-pop idols and ensure their safety. “Please pray

“Womin” they both received death threats on the weavers from haters. Please take heybe action and protect all BTS members as soon as possible,” read one of the many tweets.

“@HYBEOFFICIALtwt @hybecom @BTS_twt Have to watch. If they are getting death threats in front of the whole world, don’t take it easy, it could be a big problem for them. I told my mom that now she Worried cause I’m worried! Please take action against this! #Protecbts,” a fan of the boyband urged on social media.

The band – which also includes Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook – announced in June that they were taking a break to focus on personal projects.

In 2021, the then South Korean President Moon Jae-in appointed BTS as a ‘special presidential envoy for future generations and culture’ ahead of the 76th United Nations General Assembly.

The World Expo is held every five years and attracts millions of visitors to the host city over a period of six months. The previous World Expo was held in Dubai from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
