If they are not aware of the impact of BTS they have to live under a rock. From dominating the music industry to becoming a part of our pop culture and even finding references in popular television shows, the Bangtan Boys are everywhere. Recently, an ARMY, the official name of the septet’s fan base, discovered a shout-out to BTS on an old episode of The Simpsons and shared it on social media.
The old clip shared by the fan shows Marge Simpson asking Cletus about his family members, to which he replied, “Well, my family is now Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and all those Mumfords …and everyone in BTS, except Jungkook; he’s too handsome for my taste.”
Sharing the video, the user wrote, ‘Bts mention in The Simpsons!? I had it in the background and randomly heard them say Jungkook. Another fan replied, ‘Yes, I remember it. I think this was a few years ago. The Simpsons even went blank once and there was a BTS sign outside.”

Before that, there was another BTS reference to The Simpsons. In a 2019 episode, the Simpson family visited Korea and as they were walking down the street, they saw a signboard with BTS’ name written on it. “BTS will appear here today!” was written on it.
For those who don’t know there was an episode where The Simpsons went to South Korea for an e-sport competition, and some of the signs referred to tannies. “BTS Army Recruitment Center” and “BTS will appear here today” pic.twitter.com/xUkmtJJ6dt

Meanwhile, BTS, consisting of RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V and Jungkook, recently ended their permission to dance on stage Las Vegas concerts and returned to South Korea. At the end of the concert, the septet also announced its return.
After the concert was over, a short Evie was played in black and white with a montage of members, with band leader RM’s voice saying “We’re Bulletproof”. Then the screen blacked out and the date 10th June 2022 appeared.
