A funny clip of Hollywood stars Betty White and Ryan Reynolds has resurfaced on Twitter after the veteran actress passed away on December 31. The two, who worked together in the 2009 film ‘The Proposal’, are shown in a behind-the-scenes video. Indulging in an sarcastic and foul battle of words. The footage was shared on Twitter on Saturday by Ahmed Ali, who wrote, “This clip of Betty White with Ryan Reynolds lives on in my mind for rent.”
In the two minute and seven second video, Betty is seen approaching Ryan and misidentifying him as “Brian”. Betty is seen asking Ryan to bring her a cup of coffee as she thinks he is her assistant on the sets of the film. To this, Ryan clarifies that they have actually been working together for months, and she tells him that he has been “a terrific assistant.” Ryan then adds, “It’s because I’m not a supporting daughter, I mean I’m playing a supporting role in the film. I’m an actor and you should know that.” That’s when Betty surprised Ryan and the audience, saying, “When Betty White says she needs a cup of coffee, you get her a fu****g cup of coffee.”
An angry Ryan tells Betty, “I’m going to tell you exactly how it is. You seem like a lovely lady on the outside, but on the inside you are like this rising demon. You hear me?” Just then Betty turns to Ryan’s co-star Sandra Bullock, while crocodile tears seek her comfort, while discreetly giving her the finger. As she gains the sympathy of those on set, including Sandra, Ryan is made to look like the bad guy who disrespected the old lady. The video ends with Sandra condemning Ryan for being rude to Betty. The footage has since been shared on Saturday. Has been viewed over 6.5 million times.
