Here’s how vada pav can be made weight loss friendly and healthy:

  1. One of the biggest reasons why vada pav is calorie-heavy is that aloo bonda is deep fried. however, it can be easily air-fried without much hassle. “Don’t deep fry the pav, rather serve them hot with low or negligible fat content,” the dietician wrote in an Instagram post.
  2. She further shared the recipe to make a healthy air-fried bonda at home. Basically, the whole process was always the same as in Aloo Bonda, just the consistency of the batter remained the same smooth and thick So that it does not drip in the air fryer. He recommended baking it for 12-14 minutes at 390°F or 200°C.
  3. The expert suggested using gram flour batter for frying the bonda. Gram flour or besan is a good source of protein and makes bonda more healthy. Furthermore, the dietician added that paneer can be added to the bonda to increase the protein quotient.
  4. Use instead of coriander leaves for chutney mint leaves instead, This will make the vada pav chutney more weight loss friendly and healthy.

So, enjoy your favorite Vada Pav without worrying about your health or derailing your weight loss goals!
