Board Exam 2022: According to the students, since the classes were conducted online due to the pandemic, it would be unfair to conduct the exam in physical mode.

Most of the state boards and central boards have declared the exam dates for class 10 and 12 exams this year, leaving a large section of students disappointed. The students are demanding cancellation of offline board exams and are asking to find an alternative evaluation method instead.

According to the students, since the classes were conducted online due to the pandemic, it would be unfair to conduct the exam in physical mode. Board Exam 2022 candidates have now taken to the social media platform with the hashtags #cancelboardexam2022 and #InternalAssesmentForAll2022.

He has also highlighted that board exams and JEE Main are near and students will need time to prepare. Hence, they have demanded to postpone the exams and schedule them in such a way that the students have enough time to prepare for each.

Earlier, students from 15 states had moved the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of offline exams and finding an alternative assessment method for board exams. However, the top court dismissed the petition filed by child rights activist Anubha Srivastava Sahai and the students’ union of Odisha. Also, cancellation of board exams of many academics may not be ideal.
