Ganja Besan Laddu

material:

  • 1 cup gram flour/gram flour
  • a quarter cup of ghee
  • half cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp hemp hearts
  • tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp hemp powder
  • 10 almonds to garnish

method:

  • Roast the gram flour on medium flame for about 10-15 minutes and keep stirring continuously.
  • It should not have a raw taste.
  • Add ghee and mix well.
  • Cook the gram flour for about 8-10 minutes till the fat separates and turn off the gas.
  • Add Chinese cardamom powder and cannabis powder. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
  • Let the mixture cool down completely. When the mixture cools down, add the hemp hearts to it.
  • Start making laddus by applying ghee on your hands. Make smooth and round laddus. Garnish with almonds.
  • Serve or store it in an airtight container.

  • 1 quarter cup all purpose flour (175 grams)
  • 2 tbsp fine rava (semolina) 25 grams
  • 1 tbsp hemp flour
  • cup powdered sugar (80 grams)
  • cup ghee (115 grams)
  • tsp salt
  • tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios or dry fruits of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Hearts

method:

  • Sift flour in a bowl. Keep it aside.
  • Whisk the ghee and sugar in a bowl with a spoon or until creamy, light and pale yellow.
  • Add refined flour, hemp flour, semolina, salt and cardamom powder to the ghee-sugar mixture.
  • Mix everything together using a spatula, then use your hands to bring the dough together. Do not knead the dough.
  • If the dough looks dry, add a tablespoon of ghee and work gently until the dough comes together.
  • Keep the dough covered in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Mixing ghee and flour in the flour of Nankhatai.
  • Pinch off a lime-sized portion of the dough. Give it a smooth circular shape by rolling it between your palms. Flatten them slightly.
  • Place it on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
  • Repeat with the rest of the cookie dough.
  • Space them 1 inch apart because they will spread as they bake.
  • Make a criss-cross pattern in the middle with the help of a knife. You can also make a slight indentation in the center instead of in a criss-cross pattern.
  • Refrigerate again for another 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 190°C.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 16 minutes. It may take you a little more or less time. Watch after 13 minutes.
  • Sprinkle some chopped pistachios and rose petals and hemp hearts.

Double Chocolate Chip Hemp Heart Cookies

material:

  • cup liquid coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup almond, soy or rice milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut or brown sugar
  • 1 cup hemp seeds, divided
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or vegetarian)
  • 2 cups gluten free or all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • teaspoon kosher salt

method:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla, coconut sugar, 3/4 cup hemp seeds and 1/2 cup chocolate chips in a blender and puree for 30 seconds or until small crumbs remain but mixture is creamy.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture and mix until the ingredients are completely combined. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and hemp seeds.
  • Using a small ice cream scoop or 2 tablespoon measure, place cookies on silpat or parchment-lined baking sheets. Use the heel of your hand to gently press the cookies down and form them into a circle.
  • Bake cookies for 11 minutes for softer cookies and 13-14 minutes for crisper cookies.
