Cannes 2023: Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’ to have midnight screening

by director Anurag Kashyap Kennedy Organizers announced Thursday that it is moving to the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival. The film will be screened under the midnight screening section of the prestigious film gala.

Film distributor Iris Knobloch and Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux made the announcement at a press conference in Cannes.

The Cannes Film Festival shared the update on its official Twitter page.

“Kennedy #SéanceDeMinuit / #MidnightScreenings #Cannes2023 by Anurag Kashyap,” read the post.

Kashyap has been a regular presence at the Cannes Film Festival.

Before that, there was his multicultural gangster cult classic gangs of wasseypur(2012) was screened at the 2012 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, an independent selection of the Cannes Film Festival.
