Common Entrance Test (CAT) 2021 The result is expected to be released tomorrow, January 3, however, the exam conducting institutes – IIM Ahmedabad No official confirmation has been announced yet. Once declared, the candidates who have appeared for the exam will be able to check the scorecard on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who qualify in the written qualifying test (WAT) will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
CAT 2021 was conducted on November 28, after which the answer key was released on December 8. Around 1.9 lakh students had appeared in the examination. It was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in the exam centers spread over around 158 exam cities.

Step 1. Visit the official website of IIM CAT 2021
Step 2. Log in using your Application ID and Password
Step 3. Your CAT 2021 results will be displayed on the screen
Step 4. Take a print out and download the scorecard for future reference.

IIM CAT 2021: How to get admission
For admission to IIMs, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will send the interview letter directly to the shortlisted candidates. The criteria for shortlisting varies among IIMs, reads the official website.
“IIMs may additionally use other factors such as past academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in the shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The weightage allotted to the procedure, academic cut-off and assessment standards may differ across IIMs.”
