CBI to question YS Reddy’s cousin in murder case on March 10

He further said that he would join the investigation on the same date.

Cuddapah:

Yuvajana Shramik Rythu Congress Party Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy today said that he is ready to join the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in the case related to former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy on March 10.

The CBI probing the case served a third notice to Avinash Reddy, asking him to appear at its Hyderabad office today, but the latter failed to appear before the agency following his earlier engagements.

This time, the probe agency also served a notice to his father YS Bhaskar Reddy, asking him to appear for questioning in connection with the case along with his son.

Speaking to the media in Cuddapah on Monday, Reddy said, “CBI has issued notices to me and my father YS Bhaskar Reddy to appear for questioning on March 10 and March 12 of this month.”

He further said that he would join the investigation on the same date.

“As per the notice, we will attend the hearing and support the authorities. I am going to appear for questioning on March 10 and my father will appear for questioning on March 12,” Mr Reddy said.

The Kadapa MP, who is a cousin of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has appeared before the agency twice.
