CBSE 10th, 12th Practical Board Exam 2022 From Today, Guidelines To Follow

Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has announced the guidelines that need to be implemented during the board practical board exams 2022 of class 10 and 12. The practical exams will be conducted from today, March 2 and will continue till 10 days before the final exams of the respective classes. CBSE will conduct Term-2 Theory Board Exams for both the classes from April 26.

The students appearing for the exam will have to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol. This includes wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing and bringing hand sanitizer with you. To avoid overcrowding and maintain social distancing, the board has suggested that schools divide examinees into subgroups of 10 students each. With this, 10 students will be involved in lab work, while others will complete pen and paperwork.

To ensure fair and fair evaluation, CBSE has advised schools to conduct practical examinations in two or three sessions in a day if the number of candidates is more than 20.

The board will not appoint an external examiner for class 10 board practicals. Whereas, class 12 board practicals will be conducted only in the presence of an external examiner appointed by CBSE and an internal examiner appointed by the school.

CBSE has also announced that there will be no separate practical exams for private students of both class 10 and class 12. Marks will be allotted for private students on the basis of marks obtained in theory examinations conducted by the board. Class 12 private students who failed in their practical exams last year can appear for the practical exams of 2021-2022.

According to the official guidelines, the marks of practical examination, project or internal assessment will have to be uploaded from March 2. The uploading of marks should be completed by the last date of the respective classes. The Board will not consider any extension of the mentioned dates.
