CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2022: KV or JNV? Which school will do better this time?

central board of secondary education (CBSE) is all set to declare the results of class 10 and class 12 board exams soon. Though an official date is yet to be confirmed, the board is likely to declare the result by July 15. The results will also clear the picture for the best school in CBSE, a title that has seen a close competition between Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) and KVS. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) since last few years.

Last year, KV claimed to register a 100 percent success rate in the title CBSE Board exam results, however, JNV was also not far behind. While KV recorded a perfect passing percentage, JNV missed out on the title by only a marginal margin as 99.94 per cent of its students cleared the CBSE 12th board exams.

Government schools in the country registered a 99.92 percent success rate, which improved their pass percentage to 94.94 percent in 2020. That year, JNV emerged as the top ranked school in the country with 98.70 percentile. By KV, which recorded 98.62 percent results in CBSE board exams.

CBSE had divided the academic year into two parts, each consisting of 50 per cent syllabus. The board exam was conducted separately for each part. While the semester examination of the academic year had only objective type questions, in the second semester examination the students normally attempted to answer short and long type. Final result will be prepared after Average of performance of students in both the semesters, The first semester results were declared in February this year.

CBSE had also reduced the syllabus of the syllabus by 30 per cent to ease the pressure on the students amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The board, however, is all set to return to the old exam pattern with a complete syllabus for the upcoming academic year. This year the board exams for over 30 lakh students of class 10th and 12th ended on June 15.
