CBSE, CISCE 10th, 12th Term 2 Expected Exam Dates, Paper Pattern

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) Term 2 examinations are likely to be held in March-April, that is, until the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic becomes favourable. , both the boards had said earlier.

CBSE Term 2: Exam Dates

As of now, CBSE is yet to announce updates regarding the second session examinations for the 2021-22 academic session. Once the CBSE Term 2 date sheet is released, students will be able to check them on the official website – cbse.gov.in. The board conducted the class 10 and 12 term 1 examinations in November-December 2021 and is expected to release the term 1 scorecard soon.

CBSE Term 2: Exam Pattern

According to CBSE Term 2 Sample Papers that were released Few days before by the board, the exam will consist of questions from chapters and units which are to be covered in 2 term. Students can download Class 2 CBSE Board Exam Class 10, 12 Sample Papers from CBSE website cbseacademic.nic.in. While CBSE Term I had Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Term II will have short and long type questions. The question papers of Term II will have subjective and case-based questions along with some internal choices. The exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours.

CISCE Semester 2: Exam Dates

As of now, for CISCE Sem 2, ICSE (Class 12) and ISC (Class 10) Term 2 date sheet schedule is expected to release by February. The second semester exams are expected to be held in March or April. It is expected that the board will update on the second session exam after declaring the CISCE class 10, 12 results.

CISCE Sem 2 2022: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of both the exams has been changed by CISCE. The first semester had multiple choice question paper while the second semester will be conducted in offline or online mode depending on the pandemic situation. CISCE had earlier informed that the question paper for each semester exam will be of 80 marks for ICSE and 70 marks for ISC. As per the guidelines issued by the CISCE, the total syllabus has been reduced due to the pandemic, which is divided into two halves for each semester.
