CBSE class 10th, 12th practical exam starts today, check details here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct practical examinations and internal assessment for classes 10 and 12 from today, January 2. The board announced that the practical exams will end on January 14.

Candidates can check the detailed information about Practical Examination, Project and Internal Assessment on the official website of CBSE www.cbse.gov.in.

CBSE has also directed schools to upload marks and grades of students between January 2 and January 14. It is also stated that if a student remains absent in the practical examination for the session 2022-23, he/she will be marked ‘absent’ in the system. , However, if the practical exam is scheduled at a different time due to the absence of the student on the day of the exam, it will be marked as ‘Rescheduled’.

In an official notification, the board said, “The marks of all practical examinations/project/internal assessment will be uploaded simultaneously starting from the date of conduct of examination/evaluation. The uploading of marks will be completed by the last date of the concerned class. Extension of dates will not be considered by the Board.”

the board has already issued board exam date sheet Class 10th and 12th exams are to be held in 2023. According to the datesheet, the examinations of both 10th and 12th will start from February 15.

CBSE has prepared the date sheet keeping in mind the competitive exams including JEE Main exam dates.

According to the schedule, the 10th or secondary exams will start from February 15 and will continue till March 21, 2023, while the 12th or senior secondary exams will start from February 15 till April 5, 2023.

The 10th exam will start at 10.30 am and end at 12.30 pm. Class 10, 12 students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the exam.
