CBSE Result 2022: Here’s how the marks will be calculated

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10th and 12th Term 2 results 2022 by July. It is not clear on which date the final announcement will be made, so students are advised to keep a close watch on the website. After the declaration of CBSE results, candidates can check their scores on cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Students can also check class 10th and 12th results through Digilocker, UMANG App or SMS. This is the first time that CBSE The board exam was conducted in two parts- Term 1 and Term 2 for both class 10th and 12th. The CBSE Board conducted the Class 10 Term-1 examinations from November 30 to December 11, 2021. It declared the result on March 11, 2022. Whereas for CBSE Term 2 exam was conducted from 1st December to 22nd December. the board declared CBSE Term-1 Result on March 19

On the other hand, CBSE had conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 Term 2 exams for the 2022 batch in April and May this year. The CBSE class 10th board exam was conducted from 26 April to 4 May and class 12 exam was conducted from 26 April to 15 June.

CBSE Class 10th and 12th Result: Evaluation Criteria

CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 exams were conducted in two separate terms, and each session covered 50% of the syllabus. The final result, i.e. the result of Term 2, will be based on both Term 1 and Term 2. However, what will be the weightage of each exam? CBE Term 1 exam consisted of objective type questions whereas Term-2 exam was subjective. A section of teachers, parents and educationists are demanding that the final marks should be based on the best performance in either Term 1 or Term 2 examination. Some have suggested that internal assessment should be given more importance. As per demand, an overall 50% weightage should be given to internal assessment and the remaining 50% should be divided between Term 1 and Term 2.

Since a new format has been implemented this season, many CBSE The students of the board are confused about the evaluation criteria. The CBSE board has already said that equal weightage will be given to each term. The board also decided not to fail anyone.

CBSE Class 10th & 12th 2022 Result: Minimum Passing Marks

For CBSE 10 Result 2022, students need to score at least 33% marks to qualify. Students scoring less than 33% in CBSE High School (Class 10) Result 2022 will be declared ‘Failed’.

Students who fail to secure minimum marks in CBSE board results can apply for compartment exam or scrutiny to save their year.

CBSE Board Exam 2022: Will CBSE fail any student in Term 2 exam?

The final result of CBSE Board in 2022 will consist of the scores of Term 1 and Term 2. CBSE Board did not fail anyone in Term 1 result. To qualify the exam students need to score minimum 33% of the total marks.
