central board of secondary education ,CBSE) issued a press release on Monday inviting applications from university and college students to apply Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSS). it is an initiative of Higher Education Department, Ministry of Education, For 12th class passed students who are studying in college/university. Interested students can apply online for CSSS 2022 National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – Scholarships.gov.in.
CSSS is for the year 2022 and candidates can also renew their scholarship on the portal, 1st renewal for 2021, 2nd renewal for 2020, 3rd renewal for 2019 and 4th renewal for 2018 is also available on the website.
The CBSE notification states that the last date for submission of online application forms for renewal and new scholarship is October 31, 2022. “All the candidates are advised to apply online within the stipulated time and get their online applications verified by the institutes otherwise the application will be treated as invalid,” the notification said.
Students applying for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme will need the following documents – Aadhar Card Number, Bank Details, Income Certificate of Parents, E-mail ID, Valid Mobile Number, Caste Certificate (if required), Disability certificate (if any).
