CBSE waives off registration, exam fees for students who lost parents due to Kovid

New Delhi, September 21 (PTI) According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), students appearing for class 10 and 12 board exams next year will not have to pay any registration or examination fee if they lose their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected the country and keeping in view its impact on the students, CBSE as a special measure for the academic session 2021-22 has decided that neither the examination fee Nor will the registration fee be charged. Board from students who have lost both parents or surviving parents or legal guardians or adoptive parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.

“The schools will provide the details after verifying the genuineness of these students while submitting the list of candidates for class 10 and 12 examinations,” he said.
